Broadband Usage Policy
Your broadband usage is the data that you upload and download from the internet. Exa Networks follows OFCOM's voluntary code of practice on broadband speed and is committed to providing the best information about what affects customers' speeds.

All our usage policies are detailed in our Term & Conditions.
Our policy for services is to provision enough capacity in our network for our customers to not experience slow downs, even at peak times.
Our broadband products have no monthly usage allowance and we perform absolutely no DPI (deep packet inspection) of our customers' traffic. Said plainly: we do not prioritise traffic based on the content transported. Such prioritisation may be used to slow down some services at peak time in order to leave room for other real time services.
For our customer's best experience, Exa Networks may apply "classes of service" to traffic when it can be easily identified and doing so will be beneficial to our customers. This means that our equipment may prioritise latency sensitive traffic, such as real-time audio or video, over other types of data: for example, a large download.
